Too hot and long float was the main contribution to this mishap. Go Around, so you have a chance to fly again tomorrow. Aviation is all about risk management. I don't know the wind conditions for that day, but I would go for few knots of tail wind and approach from the sea side than coming over high and hot from the hill side. Again,.. risk management comes a big factor in this decision making. My 2 cents.Kambiz
