Jafar jaan, per your recommendation, I'm flying to St. George, from Prescott (PRC), on Monday. Do you know of any good place to get a bite to eat in that area?
Anybody else feels like flying to Utah? Chayee's on me Smile

Salam Vala Jaan.
Saint George is one of my favorite Places. Most of the hotels are clean, we stood in Holiday inn Saint George last time, price was right, and breakfast was good enough to hold us until lunch, and rented a car from Enterprise Saint George not the one in the Jet Center, they came picked us up and they gave us a ride back to airport. We went sight scene from 8.00 in the morning until dark every day, prepare yourself to take many pictures.
I wish I could of come, but I have to work.
Maybe next time.
Have a great time
Best regards.
Jafar

Thanks a lot Jafar jaan for all the details. My flight was canceled yesterday and postponed until next Monday due to the local wx conditions. Since this is a training flight, I'll only be able to spend one hour or so over there this time, but maybe a few of us should plan a nice and long trip to ST. George later on... And then maybe we'll stop by PRC as well and I'll show you all the attractions over here such as Jerome and Sedona.
How long is the flight to St. George in the Baron?

Salam Vala Jaan.
Sorry you couldn’t go, but better be safe than sorry, as a pilot you always have to make the right decision. If you go for few hours may be Hotel Hilton can send a shuttle after you, have lunch or something to eat, relax and have them take you back to airport and fly home.
With my Baron from (KCCB) in Upland Ca, is under hour and half, and if you decided to go for a day or so on the weekend, let me in advance, may be we can get some of our Parspilot team to fly there to have fun. We all love to fly. You never know we might pay you a visit in PRC with the short notice.
Regards.

When I wear my shirts or hats, Many pilots approach me and ask, what is pars pilot club? I proudly respond with, we are Iranian aviation enthusiastic who love's to fly.
We already have enough hats for all members (some of us has two or more of each colors like Mehdi), also some we have of shirts as well.
Any one who wants’ the shirts with logo, either send me the shirts or let me know what kind or color? I'll get them, so whenever we have outing we look like club and we can show we are proud “PARS PILOT CLUB”.
What do you think

I am definitely going to have to get on the list for a hat or a shirt. I will proudly wear them around ERAU dispatch and flightline.

As far as the trip to St. George went... well, the flight plan was revised, winds were re-spun, and performance and W/B were recalculated. The instructor took a careful look and approved all the numbers and we took off on the beautiful 15th, headed for St. George. Little did I know that my instructor would ask for a diversion to Tucson, 2 minutes after take off!!
"Tucson?!?! Are you kidding me?!" I said; but the decision was made, and diversion had to happen. I had to fold the precious flight plans and head over south, with a nice flight over phoenix. ETA was within 5 minutes, so the IP was joyful, and $1300 and 13 landings later, we were back in PRC, with 4.2 hours of "stick it to the man" flight and no bathroom brakes Smile
The flight went very well, and we did see some ANG F-16, as well as SW 737s in action.

Flying south I did get a chance to capture this shot while passing over Phoenix from the ADSB data received on the MX20 screen (copy and paste the address):

Also another shot reveling not much of anything but a beautiful sunset from 11,500ft (copy and paste the address):

By the way, I am now back in SoCal (Seal Beach) for the remainder of my summer brake. Next Wednesday, I will head back to PRC for my checkride, but that will only be a 3 day matter. Please keep me in the loop if something comes up; it will be my pleasure to meet all the members in person.
