On the first anniversary of the FreedomFlight I am planning to fly a segment of the original flight route that was completed on 2007 to set world flight record. I will depart Greenville, SC on June 2nd for Liberty Bell in Philadelphia. This is a two and half hour flight. After visiting the Liberty Bell, I will then depart Philadelphia for NY (LaGuardia) and fly over and circle around the Statue of Liberty. This would be 30 mint flight. My next destination will be Washington which is an hour flight and finally return to Greenville. This would be a symbolic flight to commemorate FreedomFlight and reiterate its massage.

As you guys know, the intend of the FreedomFlight was to encourage the young generation in Iran to bring about changes that seems difficult to achieve; Whether these achievements are changing the political direction of our country, or personal ideology and accomplishment for a better future, or striving to compete athletically or technologically with the young generation of other nations.

My goal is to set June 2nd as a day where every young Iranian focuses on the power of their ability to achieve. This phenomenon in time could change the course of their future and potentially the faith of our nation. I am hoping that in parallel with my June 2nd flight, our young generation (inside or outside the country) rise to any challenges they believe it to be out of their reach. (ex, the Iranian cyclist who is cycling around the world, or the guy who is planning a sapling in each country he arrives).

I would like for you guys to organize a flight in West Cost on June 2nd, as an extension to my flight to commemorate FreedomFlight and promote its mission. With several aircraft trailing behind one anther, the impact would be impressive. Maybe even flight formation of two to three. Maybe someone to video tape from the ground. Maybe getting a local or a satellite tv station to give you coverage.

• -there is a group of people who will be mountain climbing in Vancouver Canada on Monday June 2 (same time as I am flying to Liberty Bell and Statue of Liberty).
• -Another group of UCLA student will be riding bikes for the entire day.  The will have t-shirt with FreedomFlight logo on front and the word “Today is my Day” on the back.
• -Another group of senior citizens (80 and above) will be taking the challenge of walking several miles.

Voice of America is sending a reporter and a camera man to be in my plane and document the entire flight on Monday.  Each group will be videotaping their event. I will receive all videos and forword to VOA to be combined with the footage taken by VOA and a documentary will be mad to show on VOA world wide in coming week.

Prior to June 2,  I also have an interview with VOA (Shabahang) on Friday May 30th  at 2:30 pm ET to talk about upcoming flight on June 2nd and other event parallel to this flight. All groups are sending me group picture with their gear (Bikes, climbing Gear, et, if you guys decide to do it, a group picture with a line of airplanes in background ) by this Thursday night. I will show these pictures and talk about what they will be doing.
