I have known Sepehr for few years. While back he helped me to learn my new Garmin 530. He is young and motivated with ambition to higher success. I am very proud to introduce him. Here is a little background:
I am currently 28 years young and flying the CRJ 200, 700, and 900 for United Express based at Washington Dulles Intl' Airport. My dreams of becoming a Commercial Airline Pilot started when I took my first steps onto a commercial aircraft, a Lufthansa
747 from Frankfurt to New York
back in 1983. I was always fascinated with planes after that first
experience. As I grew older I came to realize my dreams as a
professional pilot and was determined to follow my dreams. Finally in
the summer of 2000 at the age of 20 I started my journey towards
achieving my life long ambition. I eventually became a CFI, CFII, MEI,
while flight instructing at Orange County Airport
in Southern California. At the same time I was continuing my studies
at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. During the post 9-11 era, the
airlines where not hiring pilots and it was a very difficult time
period for all pilots. During this down time I continued to build my
flight time and achieved my ATP license. My next goal was to keep on
growing as a pilot and was hired at a Part 135 on demand cargo company
flying the Metroliner III. Finally in the summer of 2004, I was hired
on at Mesa Air Group
and have been ever since.
In a nutshell, for all of my fellow Iranian
pilots who have dreams of becoming a professional pilot, just keep
pushing and don't let anybody discourage you from achieving your
dreams. The key is to stay focused and determined, and the rest will
take care of itself.
