Last week-end few of us had joined for hanger chelo-kabab. Thanks to Reza and his great food. I should thank Mehdi as an assistant chef.  All I could tell you that we couldn't fly after that food due to over gross weight.

We are planning to have a quick flight to AirVenture Oshkosh with my T210. At first we thought we could take David's 414 which is a lot more comfortable and has more leg room. Unfortunately with todays fuel cost it will not justify 3-4 people on that trip. So our plans is to fly out on early a.m. Friday August 1th and Return back on Sunday. I know its short but great excuse to fly across country. Let us know if you like to fly as a group.

Tonight I was watching Travel Channel on aviators with lots of money. Have you seen Jumbolair Aviation Estates? That is my dream to have a place like that.

We had a great flight on Saturday with David's 414 along with Mehdi, Reza and I. Our flight started from Chino at 10:00 a.m. and got to Bay area by 12:00. We had our lunch over at San Carlos. After that we flew over the Golden Gate and Alcatraz. Returned back to Chino by 5:30.

With one of the most destructive wildfire outbreaks in California history, according to some media reports, general aviation pilots need to be aware of and prepare for temporary flight restrictions (TFRs). First and foremost, stay away. But if you can’t avoid flying near wildfire-prone areas, extra caution is due. Where there’s a hot spot, there may be a TFR in place to provide a safe environment for aerial firefighting operations.
